bSummer financial aid award amounts are at campuses' discretion.
cOf these nontuition awards, students attending private for-profit institutions are eligible only for a Cal Grant B access award of $1,648 or a Cal Grant C book and supply award of $547. They are ineligible for supplemental nontuition awards for students with dependent children and foster youth, as well as the Dreamer Service Incentive Grant.
dStudents who receive the Cal Grant B Access Award may also receive a supplemental award funded by the College Access Tax Credit (CATC), contingent upon available CATC funding.
eThe Middle Class Scholarship may be used for tuition and/or nontuition costs. Award amounts are based on a student's total cost of attendance minus the sum of other available gift aid, a student contribution from part-time work earnings, and a parent contribution for dependent students with a household income of over $100,000. Award amounts will be prorated to keep total program spending at the enacted funding level of $632 million in 2022-23.
fThe UC Grant may be used for tuition and/or nontuition costs. Award amounts are based on a student's total cost of attendance minus certain other gift aid, a student self-help contribution, and a parent contribution.
