| The UC Grant may cover tuition and nontuition expenses. UC uses the program to cover any remaining need after all other financial aid is applied. To estimate the nontuition UC Grant award for 2015-16, we used the actual maximum nontuition cost at UC less the self-help expectation. We grew this amount by 2 percent in each of the following two years. | |||||
