We have no concerns with the Governor’s May Revision proposal of budget bill language authorizing the redirection of tribal General Fund payments to address the estimated shortfall in the RSTF. (We estimate that this redirection will be approximately $7 million in 2014-15.) However, we provide background on this proposal and identify several issues for legislative consideration in our handout, Shortfalls in Indian Gaming Funds.
