MOU Fiscal Analysis: Bargaining Unit 7 (Protective Services and Public Safety)

Jun 24, 2016 - In total, the administration estimates that the agreement will increase state annual costs by more than $110  million by 2019 ‑20. Based on the administration ’s estimated costs of past Unit 7 agreements submitted to the Legislature for ratification, this agreement would increase annual state costs more than any of the Unit 7 agreements ratified since at least 2005 (when the Government Code was changed to require our review of labor agreements).
