The 2022-23 Budget: Transportation Infrastructure Package

Feb 15, 2022 - Specifically, the state is estimated to receive the following in guaranteed formula ‑based transportation funding: (1) $29.5  billion from federal ‑aid highway programs ($19.4  billion under the FAST Act), (2) $9.5  billion from federal transit programs ($8.1  billion under the FAST Act), and (3) $384  million from a new federal program to support the expansion of electric vehicle charging infrastructure.

Review of High-Speed Rail Draft 2016 Business Plan

Mar 17, 2016 - Specifically, through 2015 –16 , HSRA will have received an estimated $8.1  billion to build the system. The specific funding sources provided for the project are: Proposition   1A Bonds. This measure authorized the state to sell $9.95  billion in bonds, with $9  billion of this amount for the high –speed rail project.

The 2021-22 Budget: Initial Comments on the Governor’s May Revision

May 17, 2021 - The Governor allocates half of these excess revenues —$8.1  billion —to taxpayer rebates for taxpayers with incomes less than $75,000. The administration does not allocate the remaining half to schools and community colleges in this budget.
