Nov 5, 2024 - Some of this money would provide grants to local communities to build new parks or renovate existing parks ($200  million). The rest of this money would be used to repair state parks and provide nature education ($200  million).

Dec 17, 2025 - This measure would (1) require background checks for rideshare drivers, (2) require rideshare companies to report sexual misconduct and assault incidents, (3) require rideshare companies to notify passengers about sexual misconduct and assault risk of drivers, and (4) increase rideshare companies’ legal and financial responsibility for rideshare-related sexual wrongdoing (Amendment #1).

Dec 12, 2025 - Monies in the fund would be allocated in the following order: (1) offsetting costs incurred by the courts and DOJ in carrying out enforcement duties; (2) offsetting costs incurred by the California Department of Education to review and update AI literacy curriculum content and instructional materials; (3) supporting implementation of the smartphone-free classrooms policy; and (4) administering and funding grants to protect and prepare children to use AI safely.

Nov 5, 2024 - Last year, total state and local revenue from these taxes was about $200  billion.   Yes/No Statement A YES vote on this measure means: The state minimum wage would be $18 per hour in 2026. After that, it would go up each year based on how fast prices are going up.
