The 2018-19 Budget: Review of Fair Political Practices Commission Budget and Workload

May 7, 2018 - Specifically, we recommend that the Legislature adopt the following language to be added to Item 8620 ‑001 ‑0001 of the budget act: Provisions: 1. Not later than January 10 of each year, the Fair Political Practices Commission shall report workload metrics to the fiscal committees of the Legislature, the Legislative Analyst ’s Office, and the Department of Finance.
