Sep 21, 2023 - In 2022, the Legislature passed and the Governor signed into law Chapter 365 of 2022 (SB 1137, Gonzalez), which restricts CalGEM from issuing certain oil well permits within desig nated health protection zones.

Homeowners and renters tax relief. [Ballot]

Jun 22, 2015 - This would increase a typical homeowner ’s exemption from around $80  to roughly $365 per year. The measure requires the amount of the exemption to be adjusted annually to reflect inflation. The state would reimburse local governments for their property tax losses resulting from the increase in the exemption.

Time limits, environmental reviews, and judicial reviews for certain types of infrastructure projects. [Ballot]

Dec 10, 2025 - For ex ample, it would allow lead agencies 90 business days to determine if a project is exempt from environmental review and 365 business days to determine whether to certify an EIR. Sec ond, the measure provides the project applicant with options should the lead agency fail to meet the time limits.

Authorize $8.9 billion in general obligation bonds for various water-related programs and projects. [Ballot]

Sep 5, 2017 - Water Conservation ($365  Million). The measure provides funding for various efforts to reduce water use, including programs to convert turf to more drought-tolerant landscapes, detect and reduce leaks in public wat er distribution systems, encourage water efficiencies in the agricultural sector, and develop technologies that save both water and energy.
