The 2018-19 Budget: California Spending Plan (Final Version)

Oct 2, 2018 - Within the total funding amount, the spending plan provides $ 373  m illion from the state General Fund for CalWORKs in 2018 ‑19, a decrease of $ 65  m illion ( 15  p ercent) relative to 2017 ‑18. The decrease in General Fund support for the CalWORKs program results largely from the availability of additional county realignment funds that are dedicated to paying a portion of the cost of CalWORKs grants.
