The 2017-18 Budget: Analysis of the Human Services Budget

Feb 28, 2017 - In 2016, DSS issued guidance to counties establishing two exemptions to the 66-hour workweek cap for certain providers with multiple recipients. For both exemptions, the weekly maximum allowable hours are extended from 66 hours per workweek to 90 hours per workweek (not to exceed 360 hours per month).

Federal COVID-19 Response Actions Affecting Older Adults and Persons with Disabilities

Apr 16, 2020 - Restaurants are reimbursed for each meal, receiving up to $66 per day per person served. Local program providers are responsible for paying the restaurants. However, FEMA and the state will reimburse local program providers for a portion of eligible costs —up to 75  percent and 18.75  percent, respectively.

The 2024-25 Budget: Preliminary May Revision Analysis for Child Welfare

May 24, 2024 - As shown in Figure  1, May Revision funding for child welfare and foster care programs implemented by DSS is proposed to decrease by $165  million General Fund from the current year to the budget year (this year-over-year decrease in General Fund is larger than a proposed $66  million decrease in the Governor ’s January budget).

Nov 22, 2021 - As a part of the May Revision, the administration proposed $66  million General Fund in 2021 ‑22 (increasing to about $130  million in 2022 ‑23) to increase monthly SSP grants levels so that all grant levels were at least equal to January 2011 grant levels.
