The opening of the new law school this fall despite CP EC’s objections calls into question the ability of the state’s approval process to prevent unnecessary or nonpriority programs and schools. LAO 2003-04 Budget Analysis: Education, California Postsecondary Education Commission (6420)

In addition, CP EC administers the federal K-12/University Professional Development Partnerships. The commission has 16 members, representing the public and private university segments, the State Board of Education, students, and the general public.
