LAO 2004 Budget Analysis: Department of Aging

General Fund spending is proposed to be $33.4  million in 2004-05, a reduction of $1.7  million (4.7  percent) compared to estimated expenditures in 2003-04. This reduction is primarily due to the proposal to convert all funding for local assistance into a block grant and reduce t he block grant by 5  percent.
