Jan 20, 2026 - Additionally, notice —between 30 to 90 days depending on the specific action —is required before entities could change their governance structure, seek a merger or acquisition, sell or transfer more than $50 million in assets, or meaningfully change their presence in California (such as actions that change the number of employees in the state or annual revenues).
