The 2026-27 Budget: California Highway Patrol Proposals

Mar 6, 2026 - These constraints can significantly narrow the number of qualified parcels, meaning the process of identifying and acquiring new sites for CHP office replacements can be difficult. We therefore find the Governor ’s proposal for a $1  million supplemental appropriation for CHP to undertake these efforts to be justified.
