Specifically, while the vacancy rate was 2.8  percent in 2019, it then rose to over 9  percent in 2021, and remained at 6.6  percent as of 2024, per the most recent data available.

The 2026-27 Budget: Office of Emergency Services Next Generation 911 System

Feb 27, 2026 - The additional amount that would be needed depends on many different variables, including: (1)  the extent to which the state is able to incorporate the existing Next Generation 911  components deployed under the regional approach, (2)  how quickly it can decommission the legacy 911 system, (3)  the cost of the interim contract and solutions, and (4)  the time (and cost) of building out and deploying the new statewide  system.

The 2026-2027 Budget: California Cannabis Control Appeals Panel Permanent Funding Request

Feb 11, 2026 - ABCAB receives 20 to 35 appeals per year, in contrast to a projected 4 to 6 cases for CCAP. The 2026-27 proposed budget for ABCAB includes $1.4  million from Alcoholic Beverage Control Appeals Fund —which is about half the amount proposed for CCAP.
