Nov 5, 2020 - We estimate the state and federal governments are spending $114.1  billion to address the negative economic consequences of the pandemic, of which UI represents $110  billion. This represents nearly $3,000 per Californian.

Sep 23, 2021 - California Competes Increases California Competes Tax Credits by $110  Million. The budget package increases the amount of California Competes tax credits that the Governor ’s Office of Business and Economic Development may award from $180  million to $290  million for the 2021 ‑22 fiscal year.
