Sep 4, 2025 - As of February 10, 2025, about 85  percent of the roughly 27  million people eligible to vote in California were registered to vote. People can register to vote through the Secretary of State ’s website, in person at their county elections official ’s office, through the mail, or through the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
