In addition, certain willful misconduct —such as unauthorized expansion of AI capabilities or obstruction of investigations —would be punishable as a felony, with potential imprisonment of up to five years and fines of up to $10 million, or an amount equal to twice the financial gains resulting from the misconduct.

Proposition 6 [Ballot]

Nov 5, 2024 - Proposition  6 changes the Constitution to ban involuntary servitude as a punishment for crime. It also bans state prisons from disciplining people who refuse to work. However, Proposition  6 states it does not stop prisons from giving people time credits for working.
