Oct 6, 2025 - The measure allows CalHFA to adopt other policies pertaining to applicants ’ qualifications, such as a minimum credit score and maximum debt level. Approved applicants would also have to make a downpayment of at least 3  percent of the home ’s purchase price themselves.
