Climate Change Impacts Across California - Housing

Apr 5, 2022 - Chapter  608 of 2015 (S B  379 , Jackson) requires that climate change adaptation and resilience be addressed in the safety elements of all general plans in California. Additionally, Chapter  202 of 2019 (S B  99 , Nielsen) and Chapter  681 of 2019 (A B  747 , Levine) require that safety elements identify evacuation routes.
