The 2024-25 Budget: Salton Sea Management Program

Feb 26, 2024 - Many landowners lay claim to the Sea and its surrounding areas, including the Torres Martinez Desert Cahuilla Indians, who have deep roots in the area. Other landowners include the state, Riverside County, Imperial Irrigation District (IID), Coachella Valley Water D istrict (CVWD), the federal Bureau of Land Management, the federal Bureau of Reclamation (Reclamation), and private  landowners.
