Mar 10, 2022 - For example, as part of the 2021 ‑22 budget, HCAI  received $800  million General Fund to increase the number of behavioral health providers statewide focusing on children and youth treatment. In addition, the 2021 ‑22 budget provided HCAI  with $60  million General Fund to support the Song ‑Brown Program, intended to increase the number of primary care providers statewide by funding primary care residency training slots.
