a Community college districts typically issue local general obligation bonds to pay for a share of project costs.
b The May Revision reflects $540,000 in higher 2021-22 state costs compared with the January proposal, but no change to total state costs or overall project costs. To avoid double counting, only the May amounts for this project are reflected in "Grand Totals."
c This project replaces one originally approved in the 2019-20 Budget Act for preliminary plans and working drawings, with construction initially funded in the 2020-21 Budget Act. The revised project is due to a mandate by the Division of the State Architect to implement additional seismic upgrades to the building. State costs for all years are $4.9 million higher than the amount approved in 2020-21 and total costs are $9.8 million higher.
P = preliminary plans. W = working drawings. C = construction.
