Jan 5, 2017 - –granting programs (including UC ’s schools of nursing) and (2) previous attempts to develop joint CSU/UC doctoral programs in nursing “were unsuccessful. ” The committee also noted that launching a Ph.D. program at CSU would require “significant growth ” within nursing schools to boost research productivity among current faculty members and secure external funding to support that research.

A small amount goes unspent because some awards do not get paid in certain circumstances, such as when a student drops out of school prior to the end of the “add/drop ” period for courses at that school.
