Proposition 6 [Ballot]

Nov 5, 2024 - Proposition  6 changes the Constitution to ban involuntary servitude as a punishment for crime. It also bans state prisons from disciplining people who refuse to work. However, Proposition  6 states it does not stop prisons from giving people time credits for working.

Sep 8, 2015 - Impedes a patient 's ability to obtain, transport, or cultivate marijuana, so long as (1)  the method of obtaining, cultivating, or transporting marijuana is consistent with the business practices and/or cultivation practices used for other non-prohibited flora in the l aw ’s jurisdiction, and (2) no medical marijuana business or cultivation activities occur within 600  feet of a K-12 school, unless approved by local authorities.

Research and development involving certain psychedelic substances (Amendment #1). [Ballot]

Sep 7, 2023 - The bond funds are intended primarily to support R &D, with no more than 6  percent of total bond funds allowed for administrative costs. The measure would provide the TREAT Institute with an initial $6  million General Fund loan so it could commence its operations, followed by annual General Fund loans of $150  million if the first bonds are not sold in the first fiscal year following passage of the initiative.
