SB 1 Has Doubled Major Source of State Funding for Local Streets and Roads

Jan 24, 2020 - In the fiscal ye ar prior to the passage of SB  1 (2016 ‑17), $1.3  billion was distributed to cities and counties as shared revenues, which was 19  percent of the total funding made available for local streets and roads.
