Rethinking the 1991 Realignment

Oct 15, 2018 - Multiple class action suits were brought against the state to prevent these changes from taking effect ( Oster v. Lightbourne, et al. I and II and Dominguez v. Brown, et al .). Ultimately, the federal district courts issued temporary injunctions preventing the state from making these changes.
