The 2022-23 California Spending Plan: Health

Oct 24, 2022 - Eliminate Certain AB  97 Provider Rate Reductions. The spending plan includes $9  million General Fund ($19.6  million total funds) to eliminate certain provider rate reductions (commonly referred to as the “AB  97 provider rate reductions ”), including those for nurses, chronic dialysis clinics, respiratory care providers, blood banks, psychologists, and various others.

Mar 10, 2022 - Although ETP grants may be one tool to upskill workers, the $90  million proposal in the package would almost double grant funding made by ETP in recent years (the panel distributed a total of $97  million in grants in 2020 ‑21).

COVID-19: Federal Health-Related Response

Mar 23, 2020 - About $97  million of this distribution went to health centers and Federally Qualified Health Centers in California. $225  million will be distributed nationwide to rural health clinics. So far, $13.1  million of this amount has been distributed to California rural health clinics.
