Oct 18, 2017 - Funding is based on average daily attendance ($147 per ADA). If an LEA has unpaid mandate claims, funding counts toward those claims. As most LEAs do not have any such claims, we estimate only about one ‑third ($268  million) of the funding will end up reducing the K ‑12 mandates backlog.
