Recent Trends in Young Adult Mortality

Dec 10, 2024 - These deaths jumped to 673 in the third quarter of 2020, then to 723 in the fourth quarter of 2020. Since then, they have been declining gradually but remain in the range of 600 to 700 per quarter, far above the pre ‑pandemic level.
