The 2018-19 Budget: California Hiring Tax Credits

Mar 15, 2018 - Under the proposal, all businesses in the retail and food services industries —about 170, 000 e stablishments, according to EDD —would become eligible for the proposed credit. This change alone opens up eligibility for the credit to more than 10  p ercent of the state ’s roughly 1. 4  m illion private business establishments.
