Jul 6, 2017 - Awarding the 2028 Games Now? Next week, the IOC is expected to release a proposal for a process to award the 2024 and 2028 Games “at the same time” later this year. The expectation of many is that one of the cities bidding for 2024—Los Angeles or Paris—will be awarded the 2024 Games, and the other city will, if it wishes, be awarded the 2028 Games.
