COVID-19: Federal and State Actions Affecting K-12 Education and Child Care

May 14, 2020 - ED intends to release funds to a state within three business days of receivi ng its application. The state has one year from when the funds are received to allocate this funding to schools. ED has clarified that any expenses incurred after March  13, 2020 —considered the start of the emergency —are eligible for reimbursement.
