Mar 6, 2025 - Under the permanent backup provider system, a recipient whose regular provider is not available, but who has an urgent need or whose health and safety will be at risk without a backup provider, can receive up to 80 hours (if recipient is non-severely impai red) or 160 hours (if recipient is severely impaired) of backup provider services per fiscal year.
