Aug 8, 2019 - Overtime is a significant component of Unit 7 members ’ compensation. In 2018, Unit 7 members received a total of $53  million in overtime —averaging about $9,000 per employee who earned overtime. We estimate that the scheduled pay increases could result in Unit 7 overtime costs increasing by more than $7  million.
