COVID-19: American Rescue Plan’s Major Health-Related Funding Provisions

May 6, 2021 - California will receive $357  million from CDC for these purposes (in this case, Los Angeles County does not receive a separate allocation). This funding builds on earlier federal allocations to states for vaccine-related activities, including $357  million awarded to California from the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act of 2021.
