The 2026-27 Budget: Food Assistance Programs

Feb 18, 2026 - We analyze the Governor ’s proposed food assistance budget and describe potential impacts of H.R. 1, also known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Finally, we provide an update on estimates for the Legislature ’s previous action to expand CFAP to undocumented immigrants in 2027-28.
