The 2025-26 Budget: California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation

Feb 25, 2025 - CDCR currently has bachelor ’s degree programs at 10 other prisons with a total of about 400 students. Establish Electrical and Barbering/Manicurist Training Programs. The proposal includes two positions and funding for start ‑up costs to establish two new career technical education (CTE) programs —serving a total of 54 new students —in the space that will be vacated by existing rehabilitative programs that are relocated to the new learning center.
