Feb 11, 2026 - Chapter  591 requires the sale or transfer of firearm barrels be completed in person by a licensed firearms dealer. As of July 2027, it also requires the licensed firearms dealer check that a purchaser is allowed to possess firearms and record certain information, such as the date of the purchase.
