The 2023-24 Budget: Department of Justice Budget Proposals

Feb 23, 2023 - Chapter  320 further requires that any penalties, fees, and expenses recovered be deposited into the Consumer Privacy Fund, with the intent that they be used to fully offset costs incurred by DOJ. DOJ, however, is requesting General Fund resources to implement Chapter  320.
