The 2025-26 California Spending Plan: Transportation

Oct 16, 2025 - New spending includes $53.1  million from MVA on a one-time basis and 90 temporary positions to complete the vehicle registration phase of the DXP information technology (IT) project. This large project also received one-time funding allocations in 2024-25 and prior years, and will need subsequent appropriations to complete forthcoming phases.
