Mar 28, 2025 - Although DSS is required to set rates based on the alternative methodology by July  1,  2025, the department ’s time line for sharing the details with the Legislature is unclear at this time. It is possible that the Legislature will not have any information regarding the overall costs or key details of the alternative reimbursement rates prior to the constitutional deadline to pass a budget by June 15.
