The state had substantial discretion to allocate CRF for various programs related to the COVID ‑ 19 e mergency.

The 2021-22 Budget: Transitional Kindergarten Expansion Package

Feb 5, 2021 - Funds in 2023 ‑ 24 m ay be prorated based on the availability of funds. $ 200  m illion one ‑time non ‑Proposition  98 General Fund to construct or retrofit existing TK facilities. If any funds are not awarded by the second year of the program, funds could also be awarded for full ‑day kindergarten facilities.
