Nov 5, 2024 - Proposition  36 would increase local criminal justice costs in two main ways. Net Increase in County Jail and Community Supervision Population. In some ways, Proposition  36 would reduce the jail and community supervision population.

Proposition 25 [Ballot]

Nov 3, 2020 - Assessment and any release would need to be completed no later than 36 hours from a person being placed in jail. Trial Courts Responsible for Pretrial Assessment. Proposition 25 makes state trial courts responsible for pretrial assessment.
