Jan 19, 2021 - As shown in Figure  1 , nearly 80  p ercent of households with less than $50, 000 i n annual earnings rent, whereas only 28  p ercent of households with more than $150, 000 i n annual earnings rent. As shown in Figure  2 , more than half of workers who have lost their jobs are members of lower ‑income households (less than $50, 000 i n annual earnings).
