The 2026-27 Budget: California Highway Patrol Proposals

Mar 6, 2026 - The Governor proposes one-time General Fund for two capital outlay-related activities in 2026-27: CHP Field Office Planning and Site Identification. The budget includes $1  million from the General Fund for CHP to identify suitable parcels for replacing up to three field offices and to develop studies for those sites.
