PERB provided us data on the number of fact-finding projects opened in the eight fiscal years between 2011 ‑12 and 2018 ‑19.

The 2022-23 Budget: Municipal Stormwater and Urban Runoff Discharges Mandate

Feb 28, 2022 - While not directly linked to this mandate, the commission has 37 pending test claims related to other stormwater permits issued by the state water boards dating back to 2009. If the commission were to find that some activities required by the permits constitute state ‑reimbursable mandates, the Legislature may receive additional proposals to reimburse those costs in future budgets.

How Has COVID-19 Affected Renters and Homeowners?

Jan 19, 2021 - Most significant have been the eviction protections for renters provided by the Tenant, Homeowner, and Small Landlord Relief and Stabilization Act of 2020 (Chapter   37 o f 2020 [A B  3088 , Chiu]). Under the legislation, no tenant can be evicted before February 1, 2021 b ecause of rent owed due to a COVID ‑19 ‑related hardship experienced between March  4, 2020 and August 31, 2020, if the tenant provides a declaration of hardship.
