The 2017-18 Budget: Considering the State's Role in Elections

Mar 30, 2017 - The Legislature made available $16.3  million in one ‑time state funds to reimburse counties for specified election costs through Chapter  11 of 2016 (AB  120, Committee on Budget). The Secretary of State reports that 47 counties received reimbursements totaling $15.7  million.
