b The Board of Regents increased professional degree supplemental tuition for 57 programs across the UC system, with increases ranging from 1 percent to 9 percent over 2019-20 levels. The board did not adjust supplemental tuition for 14 professional degree programs. The board also adopted four new supplemental charges: (1) human computer interaction at Santa Cruz ($20,886); (2) environmental data science at Santa Barbara ($19,998); (3) genetic counseling at Los Angeles ($18,000); and (4) environmental science and management at Santa Barbara ($9,999).
c As reported in the Governor's budget documents. At the time of budget enactment, UC and CSU campuses had not yet reported all fees for 2020-21. This table assumes the average campus fee increases by 5 percent in 2020-21 for both segments. UC amounts reflect the average fee charged to undergraduate students, with graduate students charged less. CSU amounts reflect the average fee charged to undergraduate and graduate students combined.
d Includes postbaccalaureate programs other than teacher credential programs.
e State law sets the maximum charge for four campus services. Amounts shown in the table reflect the combined maximum charge. Not all CCC campuses charge the maximum amounts.
