Apr 3, 2020 - In December 2020, H.R. 133 provided $284.5  billion for additional PPP loans. The program reopened on January 11, 2021. To prevent some of the equity concerns that had been raised about the PPP program last spring, H.R. 133 also set aside $35  billion for first-time borrowers with ten or fewer employees and for loans under $250,000 to businesses located in low-income areas.
